Nuclear Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Pharmacist to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our nuclear pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers.

• Leadership and Coordination: Provide effective leadership and coordination to a team of direct reports, ensuring the smooth execution of pharmacy operations.
• Inventory Management: Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring the availability of radiopharmaceuticals and other essential drugs.
• Compounding and Quality Control: Compound patient-specific doses of drugs and conduct quality control testing to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to medical care providers, responding to their needs and ensuring timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with Federal and state regulatory agencies, ensuring that all pharmacy operations meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Education and Licensure: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and/or PharmD, with a valid Pharmacist's license in the state in which the pharmacy operates.
• Training and Experience: Completion of at least 200 hours of academic training in a nuclear pharmacy through an accredited program, with experience in radiopharmaceuticals and pharmacy operations.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
