Job Title: CT Technologist Travel Assignment

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in San Antonio, Texas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. They will also be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, administering radiocontrast agents, and evaluating CT scans for technical quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) certification and registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
