Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Pahrump Clinic

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at My Generation in Pahrump, Nevada. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The LPN will work under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or other specified healthcare professional to participate in patient care commensurate to the Scope of Practice. This includes:

  • Assisting in the admission and check-in process by orienting patients or significant others to patient care settings.
  • Collecting, reporting, and documenting assessment data, including vital signs, height and weight, current medication information, and billing information.
  • Identifying patient pain or discomfort and reporting and responding appropriately.
  • Assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living.
  • Preparing patients for medical or surgical interventions.
  • Completing interventions within the Scope of Practice.
  • Assisting physicians or licensed independent practitioners with treatments or procedures.
  • Obtaining and tracking specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Preparing, administering, and managing medication.
Responsibilities:

The LPN will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the healthcare team.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisory RNs, physicians, or licensed independent practitioners regarding assessment findings, changes in patient condition, patient history data, implementation or changes to the plan of care or discharge plan, and physician or independent practitioner orders.
  • Participating in patient education.
  • Integrating legal and ethical standards into practice, including compliance with regulatory standards, practicing within the scope of licensure, providing accurate and timely documentation, and understanding legal implications of care delivery.
  • Demonstrating responsibility and accountability for own practice.
  • Participating in quality improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a current LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Have Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Have Approved IV Certification (as required by the facility).
  • Have a clean driving record.
  • Be able to link up to the company's online database twice a day.
