We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at NDCP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Clean and maintain the warehouse, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and power washing trash receptacles.
- Assist in the orderly maintenance and general housekeeping of the warehouse, including cleaning out company trailers and removing empty pallets/crates.
- Operate various equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, and ride-on pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety rules and complete all duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ability to work without supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand, walk, reach, and lift for the entirety of the shift.
