Director of Respiratory Therapy Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Respiratory Therapy to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and budget management of our respiratory therapy program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective respiratory therapy programs to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other clinical services to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Lead and manage a team of respiratory therapists to provide high-quality patient care
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate process improvement initiatives
  • Develop and manage department budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
