Job Opportunity: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team at Wolter, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Collaborate with the Road Lead Technician to ensure effective communication and resolve technical challenges.
  • Attend regular service training classes to stay up-to-date on new products and technologies.
  • Submit daily paperwork, including timecards and maintenance reports, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and the service office to ensure seamless job execution.
  • Identify and recommend jobs that require repair or maintenance, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with territory sales representatives to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic or in a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with laptop fundamentals.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Certification to operate material handling equipment.
