Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at PrideStaff - Charlotte. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision machines to meet production requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run production precision machines with guidance
  • Perform daily duties to keep CNC machines running efficiently
  • Read traveler packages to determine product specifications
  • Convey parts from the CNC holding area
  • Mark materials with identifying information and record quantities
  • Weigh and measure parts to ensure accuracy
  • Use proper packaging techniques to protect products
  • Enter records and track time using computer systems
  • Compile worksheets and inspection records
  • Monitor process and make adjustments as needed
  • Operate secondary equipment such as bandsaws, routers, and drill presses

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of mathematics and measuring instruments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
