We are a leading academic medical center with a robust preventive cardiology program that has integrated dieticians and exercise physiologists, as well as cardiology fellows, internal medicine and family medicine residents, and medical and dietetic students. We are an AHA Certified Hypertension Center. We have an opening for 1-2 years of clinical training in preventive cardiology, which will primarily include lipidology, hypertension management, and related clinical experiences. This is not a research position, but an interest in clinical trials in the lipid and hypertension spaces is desirable. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be required to have 20% service time as a general cardiologist. The remaining time will focus on preventive cardiology clinical training. We are seeking a candidate who is interested in becoming certified by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology or as a Certified Hypertension Specialist within the next 1-2 years.
