**Job Summary:**

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, while modeling our values and demonstrating genuine empathy for those we serve. You will be accountable for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, ensuring seamless operations, and driving business growth through meaningful solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Safety: Ensure the well-being and safety of patients through accurate medication dispensing and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Foster a culture of excellence in pharmacy practice, promoting quality care and adhering to industry standards.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and ensure compliance across all aspects of pharmacy operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to optimize performance.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer experiences, addressing concerns, and providing personalized support.
  • Personnel Management: Motivate, inspire, and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff, maximizing their strengths and addressing development opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stock, and implement cost-saving strategies to drive financial profitability.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve profitability and reduce losses.
  • Workflow Management: Adapt to change, adjust plans, and thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.

**Requirements:**

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state where employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.

**Pay Range:** $60.00 - $73.00 per hour. With experience, education, geography, and other factors considered, the actual base salary offer will range from approximately $125,000 to over $152,000 annually.
