About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team at Infosys. As a key member of our data engineering program, you will lead critical modules and work directly with clients to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines on Azure using services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Synapse.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain data platforms with a multi-layered approach, ensuring data quality, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, identify root causes, and apply fixes to ensure optimal data processing.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects, leveraging tools like Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines on Azure.
  • Ability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL tools such as Erwin, Talend, or DataStage.
  • Ability to lead large complex projects with limited direction.
