Equipment Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to all aircraft-related production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment.
- Conduct proactive preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and perform required duties in accordance with recommended schedules.
- Perform repairs and corrective maintenance to equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability.
- Set up and calibrate equipment on scheduled intervals for all aircraft-related production equipment.
- Input required data in the CMMS system for machine reliability and control.
- Interface daily with key management and production personnel regarding all aircraft-related production equipment.
- Assist with engineering acceptance testing and training.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Background in CNC equipment and GSE equipment a plus.
- Must be able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
- Must have demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of factory automation systems and the integration of devices used.
- Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine/laser alignments is a plus.
- A working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office and experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and preventive maintenance preferred.
