Job Description

As a Robotics Service Specialist at KUKA, you will play a crucial role in executing assigned robotic/automation jobs, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and driving sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of robotic equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory management, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Provide on-the-job-training (OJT) and coaching/mentoring for upcoming Field Service Technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Travel extensively, up to 80%, to customer sites, requiring flexibility and adaptability in work schedules and environments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and programming principles, with the ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with experience in phone and face-to-face interactions, ensuring high-quality support and solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office environment, internet, email, and other software applications.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required for international travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution, with five years of related technical/engineering experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
