We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that will involve working in our clinics in the Greater Saginaw area. You will be responsible for providing primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic patient care to our community with support, guidance, collaboration, and a "one store, one team mindset"
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo
  • Provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
  • Complete administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment
  • Perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness
Requirements
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
  • Two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires
