We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist with expertise in Electrophysiology to join our team at Kaiser Permanente - Southern CA Medical Group. As a Cardiologist - Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Electrophysiology program.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrophysiology-related conditions
- Perform electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and ablations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest electrophysiology research and technologies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- California medical/osteopathic license or eligible
- Scope of Practice: 100% Electrophysiology - clinic, device surgery, EP lab
- Ability to travel to Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center for EP lab work
- Pacemaker, defibrillator, subcutaneous defibrillator, biventricular/conduction system pacing and leadless pacemaker device implant training/experience required
- Electrophysiologic study, supraventricular tachycardia ablation, atrial fibrillation ablation, PVC ablation training/experience required
- Left atrial appendage closure training/experience preferred
- Ventricular tachycardia ablation training/experience preferred but not required
- Complex lead extraction training/experience preferred but not required
