Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Harvest Operations Manager to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the harvest floor, ensuring that production volumes, quality, and cost are met. They will also be responsible for maintaining acceptable yield levels on all products and ensuring that all product quality and food safety standards are enforced.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat processing and supervisory experience, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be able to work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Department and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the harvest floor
  • Maintain acceptable yield levels on all products
  • Ensure that all product quality and food safety standards are enforced
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Department and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in meat processing
  • Strong background in meat processing and supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to knives, hot water, and production machinery. They will also be required to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
