Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you'll play a critical role in producing high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. Your expertise in imaging equipment and technology will ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality images for interpretation by physicians
Maintain competence in imaging equipment and technology
Practice proper safety guidelines for yourself, support personnel, and patients
Foster teamwork through effective communication
Ensure high levels of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine program
Organized, efficient, and multifunctional
Ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication

Additional Qualifications

Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager
MRI Technologist experience preferred
ARRT certified in Radiography or NMTCB
ARRT certified in MRI within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees
Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure)
BLS certified

Compensation Detail

Compensation range is $50.84/hour

10-hour shifts rotating between the Mankato hospital and Madison East Imaging Center. Rotating days and evenings. Rotating weeknight and weekend call.
