  • Facilitate efficiency in repairs by providing assistance with parts and tooling
  • Adhere to CAT Contamination Control guidelines and all safety regulations
  • Train new technicians on safety rules and best practices
  • Provide critical on-the-floor coaching, mentoring, and leadership to team members
  • Maintain strong relationships with technicians based on mutual trust, respect, and good communication
Requirements
  • Technical background through vocational school studies in diesel equipment repair
  • ~3-5 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment, preferably with Caterpillar
  • Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, power train, and electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Proficiency in industry-specific PC and mainframe programs, as well as basic understanding of MS Word, Excel, and database systems
  • Capacity to work overtime and weekends
