The Salvation Army Eastern Territory is seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Developmental Disabilities Program, you will provide clinical input and support to our team members, ensuring the highest level of care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical input and guidance to support team members on medical issues
- Facilitate informed decision-making regarding major issues faced by the team and individuals served
- Assist with the organization and management of medical/health care information
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of medical information databases
- Identify health promotion strategies to support individuals in achieving their optimal health
Requirements:
- Current professional licensure as an RN or LPN
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative and clinical positions working with people with developmental disabilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and educational levels
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
