Bluestem Communities Management Inc is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the nutritional status of our participants and developing personalized nutrition plans to meet their needs. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to participants and caregivers
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure participant needs are met
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of culinary staff
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor and manage budgets and inventory
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification in the state of Kansas
- Strong clinical experience in medical nutrition therapy, particularly with geriatric populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance at and participation in interdisciplinary team meetings. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to our participants.
