Join RML Health Providers as a Patient Care Technician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with registered nurses and respiratory therapists to provide basic nursing care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely and complete personal hygiene care and activities of daily living, including bathing, turning, weighing, toileting, ambulating, positioning, and feeding patients.
- Obtain vital signs and other patient data collection, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration.
- Support the established respiratory care needs of patients, including replacing tracheostomy mask, nasal cannula or ventilator tubing.
- Perform simple procedures such as non-sterile dressing changes under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist with admissions and discharges, orienting patients and families to the room, unit, and environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Demonstrated successful completion of PCT competencies to validate all required skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
