Job Title:

Sr. Analog Electronics Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog Electronics Engineer to join our team at Softworld Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog circuit design, signal processing, and electronics systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test analog electronics and systems for a wide range of applications.
  • Conduct research and development of new analog circuit designs and architectures.
  • Optimize system designs for low noise, performance, size, weight, and power.
  • Analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Drive solutions to complex problems and develop requirements.
  • Perform advanced architectures and designs for complex analog electronics.
  • Involved in business development and proposal activities.
  • Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary tasks with multiple engineers and communicate status to project leadership and customers.
  • Develop, document, and teach best practices to less experienced engineers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Analog Circuit Design or related.
  • Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: low-noise electronics, analog-digital conversion, methods of synchronous detection, analog and digital signal processing, phase-locked loops, high-speed and precision amplifiers, discrete transistor level design.
  • Designing and troubleshooting analog electronics.
  • Proficient with schematic capture and printed circuit board layout.
  • Ability to perform circuit simulation using Spice or other simulation tools.
  • System modeling and analysis experience using MATLAB, Simulink, or other comparable tools.
  • Understanding of applied math and physics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write detailed documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • US citizenship.
  • United States Government Clearance.
Work Environment:

This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
