About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Futures Consulting. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and attend client meetings during the construction administration phase.
  • Work cooperatively with managers and other employees to achieve the company's mission.
  • Ensure conformance with standards, established design practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
  • Organize and conduct site visits.
  • Develop, design, and specify site HVAC systems, equipment, components, and materials.
  • Complete assigned engineering and design tasks in accordance with client specified criteria and applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within a consulting or design-build firm.
  • EIT or Professional Engineering (Mechanical) license preferred.
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD based design projects.
