Orthopedic Medical Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Orthopedic Medical Assistant to join our team at The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Assist healthcare professionals in the examination and treatment of patients, including preparing the patient and the environment for treatment, conducting basic diagnostic tests, and providing patient care coordination and education.
- Inventory Management: Manage onsite inventory in coordination with the Operations Manager, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including greeting and directing patients, answering phone calls, and handling other office duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Supervisory Responsibility: This position has indirect supervisory responsibilities, and you will be expected to lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, medical assisting) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and certification programs.
Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a fast-paced clinic environment, and you will be required to work effectively in a team-based setting. You will be exposed to common health care conditions, smells, noises, chemicals, and other environmental factors. To ensure your safety and well-being, you will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
