Role Responsibilities:
As a Radiology Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
- Preparing patients for procedures by ensuring proper positioning and utilizing appropriate imaging techniques.
- Maintaining the quality and production standards of radiographs by adhering to established protocols.
- Documenting patient care services accurately in departmental records.
- Assisting radiologists in administering medications and contrast agents as required.
- Participating in emergency call rotations to support departmental needs.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT(R).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: One year of experience in a hospital setting.
