Tact Staff is in search of a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

About the Role

Position/Specialty: MedSurg Ortho/Neuro RN
Shift: 3x12 Nights, 7p-7a
Patient Ratios: 1:6-7
Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend including Saturday and Sunday
On-call Requirement: No on-call unless scheduled due to census, with an 8-hour call requirement if applicable.

Qualifications
  • Years of Experience Required: Preferred 2 years
  • First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes, applications will be reviewed individually for those without prior travel experience.
  • License Required: Must possess a valid SC license or Compact license prior to commencement.
  • Certifications Required: BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with med/surg patients, particularly in Ortho/Neuro.
Additional Information

Block Schedule: Requests for block scheduling can be made prior to assignment but are not guaranteed.
Local Radius: 60 miles
Local Candidates: Not accepted
RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be evaluated based on facility needs.
Guaranteed Hours: The facility reserves the right to cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks.
