We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Diboll Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will provide direct resident care duties within the scope of your professional certification and assist in maintaining a positive, physical, and psychosocial environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing bed linens.
- Prepare residents for meals and snacks, and assist them in eating when needed.
- Read and follow daily care plans, perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, and report changes in condition to the charge nurse.
- Document care provision on resident records/flow sheets as required and report accidents and incidents.
- Follow safety and sanitation rules, and promptly report any injuries or violations to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State, with preferably one year of experience with the company.
- High School Diploma.
- Must relate positively to residents, family members, employees, nursing, and facility management.
- Must comply with company Time and Attendance Policies.
