We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Eliassen Group. Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and document business requirements and functional or operational specifications for projects of increasing complexity.
  • Provide consultation to all areas of IT and business management for the application of technology to support business opportunities and planning and implementation of cross-functional applications or systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user stories, requirements documents, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills, including SQL queries, PowerBI, and Crystal reporting.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on financial services or government experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira and other project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL queries, PowerBI, and Crystal reporting.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mortgage-backed securities and government experience.
  • Technical writing background.
  • Previous experience in a senior role, with experience working with UAT ops teams, dev teams, and QA teams.
