Job Highlights

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - Telemetry with the following details: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, with a consideration for 36hrs per week, EOW Length: 14 weeks
Qualifications:
  • Valid RN License in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • NIH Certification preferred
Additional Information:
  • Floating between units may be required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Influenza Vaccination Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
  • Patient Ratio: 1:4-5; 36 Rooms with an average daily census of 35
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Experience in a Telemetry unit with patients suffering from conditions such as CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues
Options for 36 Hour or 48 Hour Guarantee
Minimum Experience: 2 years; First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
Patient Demographic: Adults to Geriatrics
Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred)
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Experience in a Telemetry unit with various cardiac conditions
Patient Ratio: 1:4-5; 36 Rooms with an average daily census of 35
Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Time Off: Maximum of 7 days
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Floating: Yes
Call Requirements: None
Holiday Expectations: If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Major Holidays include: New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, there may be a delay of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
