Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is a leading fire, life safety, and security company seeking a skilled Pipe Installation Specialist to join our team.

This role involves configuring, installing, and maintaining piping systems to ensure smooth operation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, preparing, and installing piping systems composed of various materials.
  • Consulting blueprints, work orders, and schematics to create working procedures.
  • Gathering equipment and materials for the job.
  • Welding, cutting, bending, threading, soldering, and fitting pipes.
  • Attaching pipes to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps.
  • Inspecting pipes for pressure and leaks, reporting and resolving problems.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Vocational training is strongly desired.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to use a variety of tools, including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
