Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Sigma Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic examinations and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations using computed tomography (CT) scanners
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures, applying principles of radiation protection
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and files
  • Assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance programs
  • Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments
  • Transfer patients to and from radiology, as needed
  • Assist with invasive procedures and demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique
  • Operate C-Arm equipment and maintain competency in licensed modalities
  • Perform venipuncture and follow standard precautions procedures
  • Alter routine protocols to provide quality care to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
  • Set up and run automatic injectors, and maintain competency in tele-radiology transmission
Requirements
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
  • 2 years of experience in Radiography, with 1 year of experience in CT
  • Toshiba/Canon CT experience, with Cerner and Fuji PACS experience preferred
