Role Summary

The Beverage Specialist is accountable for managing beverage inventory, ensuring precise pouring techniques, maintaining bar cleanliness, and delivering exceptional service that aligns with our Members' expectations. This role emphasizes the importance of the Three Steps of Service in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Uphold ClubCorp service standards as detailed in the Food and Beverage training program.
2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the diverse selection of liquors, beers, and wines available at the club.
3. Assist in serving food and beverages to Members and guests at the bar, adhering to ClubCorp service protocols.
4. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the a la carte menu, including daily specials and features.
5. Recognize Members by name and greet them warmly to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
6. Adapt to the varying demands of the club's operations by supporting fellow team members as needed.
7. Effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.
8. Exhibit safe working practices and encourage others to do the same throughout the club.

Qualifications

A high school diploma is preferred. Previous experience in Food and Beverage service is advantageous. An alcohol and food safety awareness certification is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are essential. A commitment to ethical work standards is expected. Candidates should be comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor settings.
