We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
About the RoleThis part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a nursing professional, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct resident assessments and document care provided
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A current LPN or RN license is required, and experience in long-term care is preferred.
