We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team at Ludington Hospital. As an integral part of our surgical services, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.

About the Role
This full-time position involves working within the surgical services and operating room of Ludington Hospital. You will maintain responsibility for preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide sterile instruments and supplies during surgical procedures.
- Perform surgical sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
- Prepare case tables with necessary equipment, sterile supplies, instruments, and medications/solutions for each surgical case.
- Assist in positioning patients for surgical procedures and maintain a protective position throughout the case.
- Create and maintain a sterile and safe environment.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or completion of an Accredited Surgical Tech Program or equivalent years of experience required.
- Preferred: Surgical Technologist experience (clinical rotations count as experience).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90 days.
- Surgical Tech Certification is preferred.

Estimated Salary
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
