Accounting and Reporting Professional

Tandym Group is seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Reporting Professional to join their Financial Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely internal financial statements, accounting reports, and supporting schedules.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare internal financial reports (Consolidated Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) with supporting schedules for management review
  • Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accurate account reconciliations
  • Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting mechanisms (including SAP, Excel, and Power BI) to optimize efficiency and data accuracy
  • Participate in month end, quarter end and year end closings
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments and external stakeholders
  • Adhere to internal controls and best practices, contributing to a strong control environment
  • Compile and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or other Business-related field
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical, reporting and review skills

  • Experience with Power BI
