Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform sharpening, alignment, refurbishment, and repair of customer instrumentation in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Calibration: Calibrate and refurbish both general and specialized medical equipment typically serviced in a mobile unit, while directing other equipment to the appropriate service locations.
  • Documentation: Accurately record and relay all necessary information to the home office, including relevant purchase order numbers.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with hospital staff in a professional manner to discuss repairs and maintenance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Paperwork Management: Generate and distribute essential documentation such as invoices, tray requests, and service logs as required by both the company and the client.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain an updated master tray list for each client, tracking service dates and ensuring inventory levels are adequate for mobile repair operations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of the mobile repair lab and vehicle, ensuring compliance with all service protocols.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify and propose solutions for quality-related issues within the service process.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate actively in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Capability to pass a DOT medical examination and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • A professional demeanor and basic computer proficiency.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • The physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
