Job Summary

Our campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children's center, interventional heart program, and physician practices.

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Associate to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic diagnostic x-rays under the supervision of a radiology technologist.
  • Assist patients with questions about procedures and prepare them for exams, ensuring their safety.
  • Obtain medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast media materials as directed for administration by a licensed practitioner, authorized/certified technologist, or registered nurse.
  • Assist physicians and technologists in the performance of diagnostic exams based on assigned modality and career pursuits.
  • Retrieve patient orders and requisitions while supporting administrative or miscellaneous work tasks in the RIS, EMR, or other standard applications required in the workflow for diagnostic exams.
  • Provide ancillary clinical support needs, such as assisting patients to restrooms, with bedpans, urinals, and other needs as required.
  • Assist with administrative duties, quality assurance, safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Requirements

We require a High School Diploma or GED with preliminary coursework toward a certificate or degree in a medical imaging field. Clinical experience based on the educational program affiliated with the pursuit of a career in medical imaging is preferred. Medical clerical skills are also a plus.
