Veterinary Dermatology Technician

Animal Dermatology Group Inc is seeking a skilled Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and anesthetic monitoring
- Prepare and restrain animals for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients, including wound care and bandaging
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about their pets' care and treatment
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks, such as filling prescriptions and dispensing medications
- College or college-equivalent education as a Registered Veterinary Technician
- Previous experience in a veterinary facility, with a focus on dermatology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- A 5/8 work week (Monday through Friday) with the possibility of a 4/10 work week (full-time employees only)
