About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished physician leader to serve as the Department Chair for our Internal Medicine department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of our department, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to improve quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of physicians and advanced practice providers to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and coordination of care
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of departmental funds
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to ensure the department remains at the forefront of medical care
Requirements
  • MD degree and active board certification or board eligibility
  • Arizona state medical licensure
  • Completed ACGME residency training
  • Proven physician leadership experience
  • Clinical responsibilities within the previous 5 years
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
