Rubber Lab Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Rubber Lab Technician I to join our team at Custom Truck One Source. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality products and services to our customers in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless production and delivery of rubber products.
• Process requests from the Rubber Lab Lead in a timely and accurate manner.
• Diagnose and communicate departmental issues to the Rubber Lab Lead.
• Stay up-to-date on procedure and process changes, and utilize tools to improve efficiency.
• Provide high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and utilize power tools safely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret operational data.
• Regular and consistent attendance, with ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to perform responsibilities at designated sites and hours, excluding holidays and PTO.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in various projects as assigned by the Rubber Lab Lead.

Education and Experience:

• Understanding of rubber testing duties and procedures.
• Proficient in all rubber testing duties except for using the tester.
• Knowledge of rubber class and type, and corresponding voltages and cleaning requirements.
• Experience working in a results-oriented, team environment.
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to enter data into computer or tablet.
