Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Vantage Oncology Centers of Pennsylvania.
About the Role:As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering respiratory care and diagnostic procedures, as well as providing individualized care for patients in compliance with physician's orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer respiratory care and diagnostic procedures as assigned by the Department Manager or appropriate supervisor.
- Assess, plan, and provide individualized care for patients in compliance with physician's orders.
- Perform PFT's and EEG's according to department Policies & Procedures.
- Administer drugs in accordance with department Policies & Procedures and attests to the competency to perform those procedures.
- Perform oxygen and equipment maintenance in accordance with department Policies & Procedures.
- Document procedures in Medical Record and department records to ensure statistical and charging accuracy according to department Policies & Procedures.
- 3 years clinical experience with knowledge of either sleep medicine or pulmonary function testing.
- Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a prerequisite.
- Background in Pulmonary Diagnostic testing, able to work with patients with CPAP or BiPAP equipment issues.
