Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM, with additional overtime as required.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role begins at $[benefits]. Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, skills, and knowledge. This information pertains specifically to the Kirkwood location and may differ in other areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and the ability to read and interpret production tickets.
- Assemble various types of units related to both interior and exterior applications accurately and efficiently to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Understand the handling of doors and the different types of jambs.
- Apply sills and hinges correctly and identify the appropriate fire-rated labels for placement.
- Work with minimal supervision while ensuring the quality, accuracy, and count of raw materials.
- Verify that the correct materials (species and size) are used to produce finished products that meet customer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and stooping.
- Excellent dexterity and the capacity to work at a fast pace while managing multiple components.
- Proficiency in understanding and reading English is required.
- A minimum of a high school diploma is necessary, with manufacturing experience preferred.
