We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Specialist to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and delivery of high-quality food to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Report for scheduled events on time and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fulfill assigned opening and closing duties, including maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.
  • Work closely with supervisors, attendants, runners, chefs, and Legends Management to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform tasks in a timely and safe manner, using correct recipes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of walk-in coolers, reach-ins, dry storage, and all work areas.
  • Stay up-to-date on all menus, including specials, and be able to communicate this information to guests and team members.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow associates and other service departments to achieve exceptional results.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly setting within the kitchen.
  • Complete closing duties and checkout with manager/supervisor.
  • Be aware of other food and beverage outlets within the venue and be able to direct staff and guests to their destinations.
  • Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant, caterer, or other relevant food service area.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change quickly.
  • Punctual and dependable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and retain information, including recipes, prep lists, menus, and signage.
  • Basic mathematical calculations and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
  • Ability to speak and read Basic English.
  • Ability to work well with others in a stressful environment.
  • Able to move quickly and act on assigned duties.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, carry items, push carts, walk at a fast pace, and bend down.
