Job Summary:

The Material Handler is a key role within our warehouse team, responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of products throughout the facility. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport ingredients from freezers, coolers, and dry warehouse to the production room using a forklift.
  • Utilize a forklift to bring finished goods to the appropriate area of the warehouse.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Return unused ingredients to their proper location.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area as needed.
  • Notify supervisors of any issues with inferior products or equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management and supervisors.

Requirements:
  • 1 year or more experience operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to comprehend basic verbal instructions and read product labels and production sheets in English.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 5 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive twisting and reaching motions with hands, wrists, and/or arms.
  • Ability to bend, squat, and reach above shoulders frequently.
  • Ability to walk frequently.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift.
