Bilingual Mortgage Banking Associate

The Federal Savings Bank, a prominent national financial institution and mortgage lender, is seeking a Spanish-Speaking Mortgage Banker Assistant to provide essential support to the Senior Vice President and the residential lending team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals eager to embark on a career in the mortgage sector.
Position HighlightsThis position operates in a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. We are currently welcoming applications from motivated individuals ready to excel in the mortgage industry.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver administrative assistance to the Senior Vice President.
- Facilitate meetings with clients, real estate agents, title professionals, and bank staff as directed.
- Assist in the intake of loan applications and the qualification of potential borrowers.
- Utilize Encompass loan origination software to input and update loan data while managing confidential borrower information.
- Generate reports and memos as required.
- Collaborate with the SVP and corporate Accounting department to manage and file expenses.
- Support the onboarding process for new bankers or team members.
- Oversee payroll, bonus structures, time-card analysis, production reports, and division budgets.
- Contribute to lead generation for mortgage loans through email and digital marketing efforts.

- Minimum of a 2-year degree; a 4-year degree or recent college graduate is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a mortgage banking assistant role or related fields such as administrative support, retail, sales, or hospitality.
- Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with cold-calling and social media marketing.
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on task completion.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Favorable credit history and clean criminal background.
- Stable employment history.
