As an Environmental Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting and implementing emissions compliance programs across Onshore Resources & Carbon Management Permian business units.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain air compliance programs and systems to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local reporting requirements applicable to oil & gas operations.
  • Facilitate Business Unit meetings discussing compliance program progress, providing assistance, training, and communication to business unit personnel and management to aid in achieving compliance goals.
  • Assist personnel in understanding and complying with applicable environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Air Quality members to ensure all compliance activities are being performed at applicable sites/facilities.
  • Provide necessary data for Federal, State, and local reporting using Microsoft SQL, PowerBI, and Spotfire reporting.
  • Maintain environmental records per regulatory, corporate, and legal requirements using SAP as the source system.
  • Collaborate with Field Operations to refine best practices, share knowledge, and experiences to streamline compliance programs.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in environmental compliance and air quality management.
  • Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
