As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including children and families, and provide services that address their unique needs and circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' psychosocial needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based behavioral health interventions, including individual and group therapy, to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and develop discharge plans that meet patients' ongoing needs.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with department and hospital policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in crisis intervention, disease management, and treatment techniques.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure work experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
