Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Direct and supervise functions and activities in the Emergency Department, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Staff Development: Implement and interpret policies, procedures, and standards to personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Quality Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative and communicative environment, working closely with medical staff, patients, and families to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Education: Graduate nurse of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or ASN required.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse, licensed in the state of California, with CA RN LICENSE, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ABLS certifications.
- Certifications: NIHSS-Stroke Certification.
- Experience: 1-year experience in acute care.
