We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida University Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiac Ultrasound Department, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures using ultrasound to detect pathology. You will regulate equipment, send quality studies/images and tech impressions to PACS timely, and follow policy on transporting and high-level disinfection of scopes, probes, and transport cases.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures using ultrasound to detect pathology
- Regulate equipment used to produce ultrasound images
- Send quality studies/images and tech impressions to PACS timely
- Follow policy on transporting and high-level disinfection of scopes, probes, and transport cases
- Assist in the daily operation of the Cardiac Ultrasound Department
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI
