Position Summary:

As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for executing various production tasks while ensuring a high level of efficiency across all production areas.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality inspections of products, grading and sorting them by size.
  • Package products efficiently.
  • Adhere to proper methods in all production areas.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels as directed.
  • Communicate material supply levels effectively.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed within the plant.
  • Utilize production equipment correctly and maintain it.
  • Keep the work area organized and clean at all times.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide support for additional duties as required.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required:
Experience in food processing equipment usage, sanitation, food safety, and the safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks is essential. Familiarity with radio frequency handheld scanners and quality control processes is also required.


Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Prolonged standing and walking to complete tasks.
  • Using hands for handling, feeling, and communicating.
  • Reaching and grasping objects as needed.
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Visual acuity is necessary to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in assigned tasks.


Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $17.50. At Pacific Seafood, your base salary is part of a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
