About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Prairie Ridge of Galena. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and leadership to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement the delivery of resident care, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and services.
  • Complete assessments and write service plans for all current and prospective residents, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Director and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Monitor and manage medication administration, including ensuring that all medications are properly documented and administered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members, as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality care and services.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • CPR certification
  • Experience in healthcare management, preferably in a retirement community setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
